What We Do
1
Mentorship and Education
At Girls Go Government!, we are dedicated to guiding and supporting young women as they explore careers in government and learn how to become more civically engaged. We offer educational and informative seminars where participants can learn how to get involved in government, discover various government career paths, and understand the importance of civic engagement. Additionally, with our one-on-one mentorship services, we provide young women with the knowledge and encouragement they need to make a difference in their communities and careers. Visit the "Contact Us / Appointments" tab to learn more.
2
Civic Engagement
Girls Go Government! strongly believes in the importance of giving back to the community. Through Project Point Blank Period, GGG! members actively engage in their communities by creating and donating period packs to local women’s shelters and areas in need. Furthermore, our Girls Go Vote! Campaign educates members on how to register to vote and equips them with the knowledge and confidence to assist others in the voting process. Finally, our Politics and Pastries Program allows young women to come together to discuss current events and politics amongst themselves and with community members. These initiative reflects our commitment to making a tangible impact and fostering a sense of responsibility and care among young women.
3
Leadership Development
At Girls Go Government!, we aim to shape the next generation of female leaders by equipping them with the confidence and skills needed to make lasting, impactful changes. To achieve this, we host leadership speaker series and events that provide our members with valuable insights and experiences. Through these initiatives, we inspire and empower young women to take on leadership roles and drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
